The library I worked for when I started this blog had an annual tradition. This happened because we had a messy, unorganized internal communications strategy. Internal communications: marketing’s forgotten stepchild. On this blog, we focus mainly on marketing and promotions aimed to reach your library community.
Working through the grant application process helped us map out our data management strategy and crystalize strategicplans for the organization. These insights have proven critical for budgeting, strategicplanning, and investing as the organization looks toward future expansion.
You may be expecting me to recommend that you always attend sessions in the marketing, communications, or outreach track.
