According to the National Land Bank Networks 2023 State of Land Banking Survey, vacant lots account for 86 percent of all land bank properties and half of all survey respondents listed vacant land stewardship as one of their top priorities. the group called out community, stewardship, legacy, values, collaboration.

Community Progress has supported TCLB from the land bank’s inception and was recently engaged to lead the development of its 2023-27 Strategic Plan. They will also partner with regional leaders in conservancy and stormwater management to implement environmental or ecological solutions on vacant land.

In the Netherlands, 2,292 medicines were marked unavailable for at least two weeks in 2023, representing around 15 percent of all types, including drugs needed for cancer, epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease. These affected medicines were out of stock for 107 days on average in 2023, compared to 91 days in 2022.
