Unlike DC's "constituency service" programs by Councilmembers and the Mayor's Office, these initiatives are designed to support DIY self-help efforts driven independently of elected officials. Pedestrian advocacy organizations like Feet First in Seattle have provided a great deal of support to Walk to School efforts.

Or is it just a case, in a highly politicized industry, of a politically convenient advocacy rationale to justify not increasing G-fees? In this case, that means that primary market lenders, a very important constituency in the U.S. But is this argument valid? For several reasons, in my view, the argument is not substantially valid.
