Nicole came to the library in 2012. In the end, the benefit of hiring someone who would do the work of those two contracts (web and PR agency), in addition to being a DCDL employee and helping as needed with other Communications Department duties (campaigns, community events, etc.) DCDL serves a population of nearly 166,000 people.

Can murals be a gateway to a more developed revitalization program? Often, city arts functions are part of the "economic development" cluster of city agencies. For example, Arts Councils probably need to add some economic development planners. But I'm not sure good the average arts council is on these functions either.

Note that the streetcar has been particularly useful in stoking development (" Streetcar through Sugar House and South Salt Lake has spurred up to $2B in economic growth ," Salt Lake Tribune ), which contributes to density, which helps to build the foundation for shifting more trips to sustainable modes. The university’s $6 million plan looks good so far, with a fundraising campaign on the way. Plans for a redesign of the State Street commercial corridor in downtown Ann Arbor as presented to the city's Transportation Commission by the Downtown Development Authority and SmithGroup in January 2022. But I suppose it is a start.

I am the founding editor of the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction (IJDRR), which began publishing in August 2012 with just four papers. On this basis, we went ahead to establish and develop the IJDRR. The biggest risk is superficiality in one's understanding of the research and the new developments in one's field.

The parents have been hyper about speeding cars, and the neighborhood and our District 6 Councilmember is more concerned about traffic safety these days because a nearby elementary school had a traffic fatality last year (" Yard sign, Person running for District Six Council in Salt Lake using traffic safety as a campaign issue ," 2023).

Equitable development plan. The student asked me about the equitable development plan , which I wasn't involved in developing It has a bunch of points. First is workforce development. Who wants to hang out by a freeway? A big concern about the park concept is that it will spur displacement and gentrification.
