Despite the misguided perception that libraries are unnecessary, evidence continues to support what those of us in the library community have known for a long time: libraries benefit us all. For awhile GWU did a program like the Community Planning Lab, mostly for ANC commissioners, but I didn't think it reached very far. -- " (Even more on) ANCs (Advisory Neighborhood Commissions in DC) ," 2010 DC and non-citizens. I think that's reasonable. Residents who are not citizens still have a stake in local matters.
