In 2009, I was appointed to serve on the Community Advisory Committee, representing the Eastern Market Preservation and Development Corporation. Basically, it's back to the concept of the Eastern Market Preservation and Development Corporation. We did this in 2008 or 2009. It's rare for me to say, but Marion Barry was right!
