Recently, I thought about demolition of historic buildings in cities like Detroit as deaths, and that they were worthy of a listing in my annual article on "Urbanism-related Obituaries (2022)." I have listed failures of retail businesses like Sears or Debenhams, why not buildings? It's doubly ironic.
