There is an educational television program I saw over the weekend, " Towns in Tune ," featuring two communities, one in Canada, one in the US. Many years ago Leimert Park in Los Angeles was featured in the Washington Post as a black-business district (" Los Angeles's Black Pride: Taking In the Retro Vibe of Leimert Park ," places , 2006).

In 2006, Andy was selected as one of the top 101 Connectors in Philadelphia, and in 2021, he was named to Pennsylvania’s inaugural 50 Over 50 list by AARP and City&State. Andy was an appointee on the Philadelphia Zoning Code Commission where he championed mixed income zoning policies as well as Accessory Dwelling Units.
