Later they added light rail transit to the program. Also, less successful, it is the site of the first Downtown pedestrian mall in the US.

There is an educational television program I saw over the weekend, " Towns in Tune ," featuring two communities, one in Canada, one in the US. An initiative, called ArtFields , is both an 11 day event, held in spots around the community, an organization, and an ongoing program including galleries, public art, and arts education.

I first proposed to the city creating TMDs in 2005/2006. We did this in 2008 or 2009. 2006 and beyond, although what it's become is perhaps far beyond what I suggested, " Retail planning and Florida Market ," 2009. They still haven't.
